• Reviews entries made to various financial records for proper coding and maintenance of proper accounting procedures; and drive subsidiaries accounting system centralization and standardization • Reviews and analyzes financial information submitted by Mobiserve subsidiaries to ensure that the data is complete and accurate • Perform the group consolidation process including foreign subsidiaries translation and related parties transactions’ reconciliation and elimination • Monitors, modifies, and enhances the accounting system covering subsidiary companies of the group over local and international settings • Designs internal control systems to ensure accurate accounting data and the safeguarding of group assets • Ensures adherence of the accounting system to standards • Maintain and develop an effective internal control and compliance environment over the consolidation and financial reporting cycle • Co-ordinate the annual independent audit and the preparation of financial statements for external auditors • Solid experience with group consolidation and audit • Prepare regular reports and summaries of accounting activities and ad-hoc reports for local and corporate management. • Files reports necessary to comply with country law and tax regulations • Ensures that all deadlines and reports under his department are met and done on time and Work independently to a large extent • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting with min 3 years of Experience • Proven track record in finance & accounting • Very Good Knowledge of accounting standards and IFRS • Proven Excellent Ability to operate MS Office and preferably, Oracle application • Preferably Big4 audit background or any other reputable audit firm
