- Gaining new business by identifying and exploiting opportunities in the local market; - Developing and maintaining good working relationships with clients. - Introducing new products and promoting them through regular visits and frequent communication with intermediaries. - Increasing profitability of existing product lines by encouraging clients to use added value services wherever possible. - Delivering good customer service by responding swiftly to queries and concerns from clients. - Maintaining detailed knowledge of new and existing products by liaising with colleagues; - ensuring credibility with clients by maintaining detailed knowledge of current market conditions and competitors products; - Working with underwriters to amend policies where necessary in order to meet client demand. - Renewing or amending existing policies. - Marketing and acquiring new clients; - Arrange and coordinate meetings. - Ensuring clients understand the terms and the extent of the cover provided in line with industry regulations
Qualifications o Excellent leadership skills o Good interpersonal and communication skills o The ability to make decisions o Problem-solving skills o computer skills ( word, power point & excel) o Results oriented & creative o The ability to interact with people. o Presentation skills o Strong negotiation & communication skills
