The Steel Network Inc. (TSN) seeks a Senior Web Application Developer at its Cairo Office (ASI-Misr), to support strategic marketing, sales, and manufacturing initiatives by implementing and developing integrated solutions. Candidates MUST be very proficient with.Net Framework. Developer will work with the team to maintain and upgrade TSN’s family of websites, e-Commerce, and a CRM/ERP Systems. Tasks include (but are not limited to specification development, general site design, back-end development, e-Commerce implementation, CRM/ERP integration, and SEO. Being a small team, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects while seeing your work make a direct impact on our success as a company. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES • Develop n-tier web, Windows and mobile applications using C#, ASP.NET. • Develop, maintain and enhance systems based on business requirements using approved technologies and coding standards. • Communicate with system analysts to gather accurate specifications for new enhancements and applications. • Stay current on best practices in IT technology, IT processes and application development. • Work with team members on multi-person projects. Conduct code reviews and share knowledge.
Qualifications • 4 year degree in related field or equivalent experience • 3+ years software development experience. • Solid understanding of architecture of web applications, object oriented design relational database design, and HTML/CSS focused on building SEO-friendly code. This role requires solid BACK END development experience with a lot of development and coding (we will not consider developers with ONLY front end development experience, ie. HTML/CSS) to build pages, services and create an attractive UI.

Other Skills • Proven knowledge of.NET Framework (1.1 , 2.0, 3.5 , 4.0). • Extensive experience with C#. • Extensive experience with ASP .NET & MVC. • Extensive experience with LinQ and EF. • Extensive experience with SQL Server 2008. • Extensive experience with HTML, HTML5, CSS, JS, JQuery and Ajax. Nice to have: • MySQL • PHP • .NET Framework 4.5 • FoxPro • Mobile Development. • Graphic design experience. • Experience in design or architecture for large-scale web / e-commerce applications with web services. • Experience using TFS for source control and build management. • Implementing and consuming cross platform Web Services like JSON/REST, Web-sockets. • Experience with ER modeling and or developing and working APIs. • Familiarity with progressive enhancement and responsive web design. An optimal candidate will be self-motivated with a fresh design sense and a willingness to work with and receive feedback from team members and decision makers.
