1. The UI Developer operates effectively as a member of the development team. 2. Also operates effectively as an individual for quick turnaround of enhancements and fixes. 3. Will be responsible for developing and delivering rich highly interactive interfaces on time and in high quality 4. Responsible for the design and development of web pages, graphics, multimedia, GUIs. 5. Adds new functionality to existing systems, while constantly improving usability and quality. 6. Designs and implements unit, component, and system tests in coordination with QA and other engineers to ensure excellent quality 7. Coordinates with the software development team to finalize the projects within the set time frame. 8. Ensures development is cross browser compatible.
Qualifications 1. Experience in designing, marking up, developing the UI of websites and/or web applications 2. Minimum of 2 years of web development and UI development experience is required. 3. Solid understanding of UX and UI design with an emphasis on maximizing usability. 4. Front-end skills and some basic understanding of how back-end development works. 5. Proficiency in Responsive Design. 6. Solid mark-up skills utilizing HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript. 7. Practical exposure and/or experience with some: jQuery, KnockoutJS, Bootstrap JSON, AJAX 8. Ability to do client side debugging using Firebug, Chrome Web Developer, Fiddler, and etc. (on web and multiple devices 9. Understanding of Wordpress CMS 10. Understanding of PHP plus 11. Ability to work in a rapid development environment on time-sensitive projects and tasks 12. Must be self-motivated, focused, organized, diligent, and detail-oriented 13. Good communication skills in a team environment.
