Responsibilities •Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices •Understanding of solid website design principles •Experience with .NET, Java, WordPress, Drupal. Joomla a plus •Optimize application and web pages for maximum speed and scalability •Candidate must have a strong understanding of UI, cross-browser compatibility, general web functions and standards. •Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML5/CSS3 practices •Integrate data from various back-end services and databases •Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent
Qualifications Requirements •Proven working experience in UI web programming •3+ years of UI Web development experience with HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript/jQuery, AngularJS, SharePoint and APIs. •BS in Computer Science or related field •Portfolio of complex sites youve worked on •Expert in CSS3, HTML5, and JavaScript, SharePoint, Responsive design. •Solid understanding of jQuery, or a similar JS framework •Knowledge of performance considerations, especially with respect to browsers •Familiarity with at least one of the following programming languages: PHP, ASP.NET, ASPX, JavaScript. •A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices •Adequate knowledge of relational database systems, Object Oriented Programming and web application development •Basic knowledge of Search Engine Optimization process •BS in computer science or a related field
