-Follow up with the Purchasing team the Goods Readiness date. -Prepare Insurance for the import shipments. -Follow up with the freight forwarders the import shipments status. -Searching on the shipping line’s web sites for Schedules & Track shipments. -Follow up with the finance team the status of bank amounts/ balance for import shipments. -Coordinate with finance to transfer the customs duties online. -Prepare” form 4”request for the bank. -Follow up with the bank to receive the documents ASAP. -Prepare the required Doc to the Customs broker. -Push and follow up on daily basis the customs broker to clear the shipments ASAP. -Follow up the new customs regulations/ news. -Maintain the Filing system for the shipments. -Assist Logistics Manager in collecting/ negotiating quotations Air & Sea FCL, LCL shipments. -Assist in revising the forwarder & Customs broker Invoices.
Qualifications •Bachelor Degree. •2-6 years’ experience in shipping and clearance. •Purchasing and Import background is highly preferred. •Excellent user of MS Office. •Very good Command of English language. •Excellent Communication skills. •Self-motivated Can work under pressure. •Time management oriented. •Observer and attentive to details. •Strong problem solving skills
