•reporting to DMD Projects. •has the general responsibility to manage the Material Control System, to ensure correct flow of material cycle in all phases (procurement, receipt, issue), with the assistance of Warehouse Manager and Storekeepers. •track materials issued and monitor stock levels and manages minimum stock levels of materials to ensure up-to-date material quantities. •analyze materials availability to identify (current & future ) shortage early. •regular forecasting of materials. •issue stock reports to the management for critical items. •finding out the purchasing requirements from Construction and Operation & Maintenance Departments. •review / endorse of site material requisition to ensure the requirement are met. •ensure the technical specifications are completed as required and material certificates is provided by suppliers/vendors. •process and placement purchase requisition through purchase orders for local & overseas. •ensure information on the purchase orders full, complete and correctly translate technical specifications, quality requirements and design to avoid delivery / shipping delays or materials discrepancies. •responsible for timely and cost effective purchasing for all materials and tools required. •call for quotations, evaluates offers. •negotiate price, delivery, payment terms & conditions with suppliers. •inspect received materials at warehouse as a member of inspection committee. •issue nonconformance reports and track all nonconformance reports. •coordinate with company discipline engineers for resolving material discrepancies with suppliers. •develop local and overseas suppliers by researching & identifying potential new suppliers. •measurement and reporting of suppliers performance by performing periodical evaluation of suppliers and vendors for their qualification.
Qualifications Mechanical Power Engineer, Oil & Gas Experience Is MUST 5-7 Years Of experience.
