Responsible for initial design and development of new software or extensive software revisions . Lead architectural aspects of software application suite to ensure consistency, quality and technical integrity. Design, develop and troubleshoot technical components, frameworks, interfaces and services for software product portfolio . Play a hands-on role in the development process including design, development and support of these solutions. Lead the design and development of software solutions and requirements related to key technical components, frameworks, interfaces and services. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to stipulate technical design solutions and architecture direction. Create, maintain and review software architecture and technical design documentation. Conduct technical design and code reviews with the development teams. Provide technical coaching and mentoring to the development teams. Provide data modeling and database design solutions for both existing and new software components and systems.
Qualifications Object-Oriented Modeling and Design. Object-Oriented Software Development methodologies and practices. Java/Spring/Tomcat, PHP, .net, RESTful Web services, RDBMS and SQL (MySQL or Oracle), and ORM frameworks. JavaScript/HTML/CSS/Ajax and SPA frameworks with experience in one or more of the following: Angular.js, Backbone.js Meteor.js and Ember.js. Server-side JavaScript (Node.js). Scaling and performance tuning of Web-based applications, and providing solutions for high availability and fail-over. Data modeling and database design experience with both SQL and NoSQL database technologies. Continuous integration frameworks and processes. Team Leader in software development.
