The Business Development Advisor’s role is to contribute to the achievement of the Technical Assistance and Regional Development departments through project design and development, proposals, activity monitoring and all other departmental tasks. - Recruit new clients and assist in their registration with IMC, ensure to have legal documentation of registration; - Assess all related BCs with CAT(Company Assessment Tool) and set the development Path - Take the lead in project design and development; - Prepare Requisitions and Terms of Reference; - Develop requests for proposals and tender dossiers; - Prepare contract documentation and obtain approval; - Form part of the evaluation team to assess proposals; - Promote component initiatives to stakeholders; - Handle inquiries of potential and existing clients; - Coordinate activities of consultants; - Monitor activities of consultants and service providers; - Review project reports and formulate recommendations; - Coordinate meetings & events; - Monitor project implementation; - Maintain files and information in good order; - Contribute to component and project meetings; - Supervise work of supporting officers where appropriate; - Liaise with service providers & partner institutions as well as with other component and BRC staff when required to do so; - Prepare Sector Coordination Reports; - Report regularly on progress to Branch Manager and to Sector Head and; - Carry out other duties as assigned.
Qualifications - Bachelors Degree in any discipline, preferably chemistry or medical. - A minimum of 0 – 2 years previous experience in project management. - Previous work experience in chemical sector would be an advantage; - Knowledge/experience in business development services/trade development; - Hands-on experience and field visits - Preferably working knowledge of the industrial sector in Egypt is a must; - Preferably own car and near from 6th of October City. - Proficient user of MS package with focus on Word, Excel and Power Point.
