• Meet the commercial targets and identify new business opportunities • Plan sales visit, attend all sales functions, visit customers and offer the company’s services • Follow-up on sales progress to meet/exceed volume, revenue, yield targets • Develop new customers and corridors within the agreed scope • Ensure that we maximize utilizations on all vessels • Increase market share promoting the company brands to the market • Identify markets/opportunities on exports, communicate and initiate action on market development • Effectively present our product offering to our existing & future customer base • Maintain high level of communication / co-operation for all sales activities, internally and externally to meet customer’s requirements and our company goals • Engage Customer Service, Documentation, Operations, Finance and other customer facing departments to provide a good customer experience • React promptly to sales leads received from colleagues and partner offices • Negotiate rates/contract with pricing responsible • Anticipate problems and implement effective solution • Actively use CRM to manage the sales pipeline, and report on opportunities progress • Provide accurate forecast in terms of equipment and allocation needed to meet customer requirements. • Complete business reports as needed
Qualifications Demonstrated success record in sales in same industry - gulf/ red sea area
