Monitor and maintain the computer systems and network, install and configure computer systems, diagnose hardware/software faults and solve technical problems, either over the phone, remotely or face-to-face. •Installing and configuring computer systems. •Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications. •Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks, Oversee performance of computer systems. •Troubleshooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults, finding solutions to problems and fixing a major fault on the operating system and replacing parts as required. •Providing support, and documentation. •following written instructions to repair a fault or set up a system. •Running network applications to support systems and users and supporting new applications. • setting up new users. • Prioritizing and managing several open cases at one time. •Testing and evaluating new technology. •Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems. •Read technical manuals, conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve •Problems or to provide technical assistance and support. •Refer major software or hardware problems or defective products to vendors or technicians for service. •Technical support officer for Head Office and stores as assigned.
Qualifications College degree in a related field. Minimum of 2 years experience in same position. Computer literate. Directive Leadership.
