Marketing: - Identify, develop, Implement and evaluate marketing & PR strategy, based on knowledge of business objectives, and market characteristics. - Contribute to the strategic planning of an annual or long term marketing plan to drive forward agreed company objectives. - Identify potential areas for marketing opportunities, as well as Identifying target markets and develop strategies to communicate with them. PR, Media & Advertising: - Identify and manage advertising opportunities and track their success to make adjustments in order to increase profits. - Manage the production of marketing materials, including leaflets, posters and flyers. This can involve writing and proofreading copy, and liaising with designers and printers; - Build and maintain media contact, including station photo shoots, media appearances…etc. - Organize and attend events and exhibitions as and when required. Branding Compliance - Manage and enhance a companys brand or reputation in the publicspubliceye. - Ensure brand consistency in accordance to company policy and FedEx regulations. - Report any brand violation to management and suggest corrective action. Research and Survey - Conduct Market research and use information gathered to determine the demand for new products and potential competitors in a market, as well as the most cost-effective means of marketing, advertising, and ultimately selling services. - Monitor and Analyze market trends, and study competitors products and services in order to explore ways of improving existing products and services, and increasing profitability - Carry out market research and customer surveys to assess demand, brand positioning and awareness. - producing reports to monitor results
Qualifications Bachelor Degree. Post graduate studies in Marketing is a must. Numerical Skills, Business & Commercial Awareness. 3-5 years experience in the same field. Courier industry/ shipping industry experience is of a great asset. Excellent command of MS Office especially Word and PowerPoint with ability to write report and prepare presentations. Excellent user of internet.
