-Implement approved departmental policies, processes, procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled manner -Supervises the day-to-day operations of refinery sugar house to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes and procedures - Receive work schedule and ensure adequate stocks of chemicals, etc. are available in order to arrange the work flow & put priority for the tasks. - Co-ordinate and check the work of the Sugar Operators within his team in order to achieve the target of the department. - Maintain high standards at work to ensure controlling all work area & prevent any breakdown. - Complete an end shift reports and carry out an effective communication & handover exchange with the incoming Sugar Supervisor in the work area In order to prevent any miss communication - Work as directed by the Shift Manager in coordinating and checking the work of the Sugar Operators within his team In order to achieve the department target. - Observe all quality aspects to ensure producing sugar with required specs.
Qualifications -Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Agriculture Engineering Alternatively -experience in sugar industries or equivalent
