Supervising the Help desk support team, assigning tasks to them & help them if needed. •Supervising the junior system administration at the company branches & help them if needed. •Monitoring the network & data centers server’s performance, efficiency & troubleshoot problems that may occur & solve them using latest network monitoring & troubleshooting software. •Enhancing the network & system security periodically such as (ACL, GPO & Firewall Policy). •Monitoring internet connections stability & bandwidth consuming. •Monitoring & managing triton Web Sense web filtering server & the company firewall. •Backup critical data on daily bases & monitor the backup schedules for Symantec Backup Exec & Acronis Enterprise server Performing restoring tests to validate the backed up data & the reliability of that data. •Performing disaster recovery tests for IBM Blade Servers & SAN Storage in Main & DR Sites. •Managing day to day services that are related to the servers & applications responsible for such as (Active Directory, DHCP, Antivirus, Web Filtering, File Sharing, Endpoint Control, VPN, Internet Access & Time Attendance). •Troubleshooting & faults diagnose hardware, software & OS problems that may occur to servers & fix them. Searching for new security threats to avoid them to increase security. •Creating daily & monthly reports about (Problems that may occur in the data-center hardware or software, backup & restoring test & any changes in the hardware or software of the data-center equipment). •Managing license renewals and following up with on-hold purchase orders at vendors
Qualifications BSc degree in electrical engineering, computer science, mathematics, or other physical science discipline and 5 years experience in the IT field. • MCSE 2003 (Microsoft Certified System Engineer). • CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) • CCIT Essentials Cisco Networking Academy • Microsoft SME (Small Medium Enterprises) • CompTIA (A+, Network+, Security+ & Server+). •MCITP , MCTS , MCTS , MCTS , FCNSA
