Maintain high visibility for the company in the marketplace and provide a steady flow of market intelligence to the District Manager on market conditions, competitor activity and upcoming projects.Track and follow sales inquiries with customer and in the marketplace in order to convert these inquiries into orders.Track, manage and follow through on details Comfortable managing multiple tasks in a fast paced environment.Establish customer relationships to develop a steady flow of order inquiries Manage customer base and orders to convert these inquiries into orders.Manage customer base and orders to create optimum mix of sales volume, gross profit and market share as determined by the District Manager.Service the customer base by managing orders through the entire sales cycle.Developing inquiries, sourcing material, proposing pricing, arranging transportation, organizing logistics, delivery schedules, supplying details for timely billing, and leading collections.Resolve claims and effectively manage dispute resolution.Accountable for achieving goals for sales revenue, sales volume, gross profit, and credit.Be skilled at planning, organizing, directing and controlling all aspects of an order.Develop customer base by building strong, long-term relationships.Trains, supervises and supports a companys sales strategy to supply construction equipment, products, and services to individuals and construction contractors.Provide customer service to clients and businesses, as well as establish vendor relations with manufacturers and other suppliers.Administrative tasks generally include managing customer accounts and updating customer information, such as contact and billing methods.Establish budgetary restrictions and measure costs for contracted projects.He might need to propose marketing and promotions campaigns, perform demonstrations.Research and be familiar with new construction technologies and equipment.Provide written reports on all aspects of the sales department.
Qualifications Preferably prior sales experience in steel pipe / construction industry, Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, or Construction Management, Engineering, Marketing, or Management desirable. Experience: From 7 years to 10 years of experience
