The Entrepreneurship Skills Development Senior Advisor will report to the Component A Team Lead and will have strong working relationships with SEED Entrepreneurship stakeholders including: GoE counterparts, universities, entrepreneurship centres, consulting groups, high schools, entrepreneurship and youth NGOs, other entrepreneurship players in other international organizations, angel investors and private sector companies. Performance will take place in Cairo, Egypt. The Senior Advisor will provide technical assistance to private sector organizations to build on the successes of previous projects and develop a well-functioning entrepreneurship eco-system that promotes the entrepreneurship culture, and skills, innovation, mentorship, and business and financial education, especially among women and youth. Interventions must consider supporting entrepreneurs and start-up enterprises as well as developing the entrepreneurship ecosystem in order to achieve results. The Senior Advisor will also be responsible for fostering in-country relationships and linkages among schools, universities, science and technology institutes, business and industrial associations, and other organizations to identify, mentor, and support promising entrepreneurs.
Qualifications • Must be of Egyptian nationality • BA in business related field • 10-15 years experience in business related functions with at least 5 years in entrepreneurship related activities • Relevant international experience working with start-up enterprises and/or venture capital businesses • Demonstrated experience in designing and managing entrepreneurships programs a plus • English fluency is required
