- Communicate with the production departments, in order to maintain process and utilities plant and equipment so that targets and performances are attained within approved budget. - Organize and supervise the work of subordinates to ensure that all work of the electrical, mechanical, Instrumentation, and utilities maintenance are carried out in an efficient and effective manner which is in line with operating procedures and policy. - Ensure that preventive Electrical, Instrumentation and Mechanical maintenance are planned and executed so that plant down-time is minimized and output is affected as little as possible - Ensure that the workforce is properly organised, motivated, and trained. Ensure that personnel are developed to achieve their full potential - To provide significant input which will contribute to reductions in operating costs - Initiate capital expenditure, and monitor monthly expenses versus the budget. ( Budget & Plans ) - Supervise the implementation of projects to ensure that the projects are completed, and meeting the agreed objectives - Develop a continuous improvement system to reduce/eliminate the inefficient usage of the material and spare parts. - Contribute to the implementation of new initiatives, TPM - Monitor the adherence to all safety and environmental management procedures and control to guarantee employees safety, legislative compliance - Perform other related duties or assignments as directed
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering Experience: not less than 15 years practical experience in processing industry, maintenance management with extensive managerial background. Excellent organizational and administrative skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills
