1) Architect and Design Server and Storage Solutions with supporting technologies while maintaining customer’s budget and environment restrictions. 2) Assist Sales Reps with customer facing conference calls & presentations. 3) Deliver related IT assessments to analyze customer environment. 4) Work with a sales team to identify, gather requirements for solutions, and draft proposals. 5) Designs solutions and plan implementations with the sales team and customer. 6) Translate business needs into technology specifications. 7) Assist Sales Reps with the Deal Registration Process. 8) Provide technical mentoring and development to other team members. 9) Stays current with new technologies and innovations and recommends new technologies. 10) Performs technical presentations, Scope(s) of Work, Bill(s) of Material for customers, partners and prospects. 11) Assists with the development of formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities. 12) Works with other MIS pre-sales solution architects to expand product sales into solution sales. 13) Will be In charge of handling system support activities for MIS. 14) Provides password and login resets for end users. 15) Performs advanced system and network repairs & provides computer information responses over email, phone, and in person as needed. 16) Completes equipment set-up, handle account renewal or termination, revise support procedures, and suggest changes as needed. 17) Installs, secure, maintain, troubleshoot, administer and upgrade Microsoft Windows Server operating systems with all required server roles on assigned servers as well as Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange including Exchange mail stores & other enterprise applications and systems as assigned. 18) Participates in developing & maintaining backup and recovery processes. 19) Maintains a Change Management log for changes made in the production environment. 20) Assists other System Administrators as needed.
Qualifications - 4+ years direct technical and pre-sales experience architecture customer solutions. - Solution selling experience - Experience with leading server and storage vendors, such as Dell, EMC, Huawei, Lenovo, Fujitsu. - Experience with leading virtualization technologies - Strong organizational, communication, and consultative experience - Very good knowledge of MCSE 2012. - Self-study and independent work in lab facilities to increase job related knowledge and skills - Strong verbal and presentation skills, with the ability to tailor dialog to targeted audience - Creative and self-motivated mindset
