• The official Finance Department representative at the site, at least three working days per week, given all duties and authorities of any member of the Finance department having full authority to represent finance, with reliance on company rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and in light of the general framework of IFRS, EAS, and general Code of Conduct. • Carefully read, analyze and be aware of financial data included in the company contractual document with the client, and be aware of all rate changes, tax issues, and collection terms. Follow up any contract updates, amendments, hand-over of inventory, billing, and insurance matters. • Attend site management meetings or briefings of daily plans and activities, to be engaged with the team, and aware of major changes, services, challenges, and assess their implications on the financial results versus approved annual budget & its updates. • Follow up all site activities per department and participate with the site management in all matters of financial implications • Assist the management of the site in monitoring the budget and verifying actual costs vs budget of the month in progress, year to date, and the remaining budget.
Qualifications 1) Knowledge of accounting principles, and hands on experience with Percentage of Completion 2) Management accounting knowledge and work experience, in terms of management reporting, cost accounting, variance analysis, and budgeting. 3) Good planning and budgeting skills 4) Effective communicator 5) English and Arabic languages proficiency 6) Ability to deal with various levels of management and labor (e.g. Directors and Blue collars) 7) Attention to details 8) Awareness of general framework of accounting and internal controls (compliance). 9) Previous work experience in Cement Industry or Construction. 10) Familiar with Egyptian tax laws
