Aid in the development of the magazine’s content and overall production in close association with the Editor in Chief ensuring all work plans are adhered to. In addition, ensures that all editorial content is clear and consistent, complete and credible, well written and grammatically correct. Main Duties • Researching and writing two (1500 word) articles per month on a variety of industry related issues. • Prepares news and short articles daily for the website. • Responsible for all initial edits for daily news. • Review, fact check, proofread and edit submissions ensuring content adheres to the magazine’s editorial style. • Interviewing experts and industry leaders for profiles. • Assists the Editor in Chief in finalizing content for print. • Aids in the development of ideas that would help the magazine achieve its goals. • Represent the organization at social functions, various events, conferences and business meetings, continuously seeking opportunities for business development.
Qualifications Qualifications • Ideal candidates should have English as their native language. Candidates with excellent – near native– English skills are welcomed to apply. • 2 years of relevant editorial experience. • Exceptional editing and writing skills. • Outstanding attention to detail. • Candidates with journalism background will have priority. • Industry knowledge is preferred, but not required.
