The incumbents manages product related subjects by maintaining optimum product line up & enhancing product competitiveness through market intelligence tasks that should guide top management and other related departments in taking proper decisions relating to achieving objectives through effective activities and countermeasures. To keep track of Nissan Products competitiveness in the market and make sure it is within the level that supports in achieving the company’s sales plans To follow up on the progress of the new model launch to make sure all obstacles are overcame with consistent progress to achieve target dates. Product issue with NML Functions Regulation, Homologation New model, New Year model study (Specification & Price) Design clinic (when conducted) Prepare Spec list / Option list Prepare model code / color chart Cross car line strategy SBIS (Strategic Brand Image Survey) NCBS (New Car Buyer Survey) Adhoc survey PMP (Product Marketing Platform) preparation with NML (Product/Price/Promotion/Place) RMPA (Regional Marketing Strategy Plan) MSRP/TP info monitoring (Nissan / Competitors) Optimum price (MSRP/TP) setting Monthly tracking of competitors’ specs, prices and sales volumes to prepare for all product planning activities, along with follow up with cross functional departments to monitor the progress of new models.
Qualifications BSC in Mechanical Engineering 5 to 8 years in the automotive field Preferable but not must.. male with Strong personality Good analytical capabilities, to be able to analyze market indicators from monthly reports. Good technical background to understand technical differences and changes studied and proposed.
