head of mechanical department, duties include yet not limited to: • Supervise Electro-Mechanical design team to ensure a high quality of design deliverable. • Valuation of Electro-Mechanical Assets. • Undertake engineering review and validation of design documents prepared by design teams (i.e. concept design reports, schematic drawings, detailed drawings, load schedule, Bill of quantities and technical specification). • Perform the selection and sizing of HVAC (Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning) system and fire fighting system. • Coordinate the proper locations for all mechanical equipment (i.e. fire fighting tank and pumps set, mechanical shafts, Fan-coil units, AC outdoor units, etc.) with the architects and other disciplines. • Provide engineering advice/comments in reviewing shop drawings, material and equipment submissions from the contractors. • Ensure that all projects are accomplished on time according to client requirements in accordance with the International standards and codes (ASHRAE, NFPA, IFC, IBC, UPC, BS, Fire and Life Safety Code, ASME, ANSI) in addition to the technical specifications; with safe design, economical and efficient. • Prepare bidding Documents and perform the technical evaluation of bidder’s proposal.
Qualifications over 15 years of experience in construction field works
