Prioritizes, coordinates, and allocates work assignments to staff, and resolves day-to-day staffing problems and issues. Assists in the Development of an effective training plan for his/her staff members. Executes fairly the performance appraisal process among his/her team members. Implements systems for measuring the effectiveness of the Treasury function. Evaluates the different borrowing options and provides guidance in negotiating with the banks for bank facilities that will meet the companys funding requirements. · In coordination with the Treasury Manager, negotiates with banks on bank facilities in terms of tenor, financial and administrative charges that will meet the companys funding requirements Maintains the original copies of all facility agreements/contracts and ensures the compliance with the banks facility agreements. In coordination with the Treasury Manager handles all of the companys banks accounts and banks procedures (mortgage, stock reports, insurance policy, trust receipts and promissory notes). Monitors and analyzes interest and commission rates charged by the banking institutions for each type of funding arrangement and recommends transferring funds from: higher interest or commission accounts to lower interest and commission accounts. Executes the responsibilities of Treasury Section Head according to the documented Delegation of Authority Matrix. Reviews Cash forecasts for accuracy and completeness and forwards them to Treasury Manger
Qualifications University degree in Accounting, finance, economics or equivalent work experience; Approximately 5- 7 years of related experience; Ii Professional certificate (e.g. CFA) or Master’s Degree in a related discipline is preferred; Knowledge of computerized information systems used in accounting applications; Excellent judgment, tact, and decision-making ability; Supervisory, interpersonal, analytical, communication and organizational skills; Excellent knowledge of both Arabic and English language (speaking, reading and writing); and Proven track record.
