Project Portfolio Management Tasks; • Assist in implementing projects activities as per SFSD approved action plan. • Monitoring and supervising the performance of the projects: through regular supervision, which includes regular communication with the client (oral and written); field visits; reviewing technical reports and the fulfillments of milestone for next payments, as well as trouble shoot any obstacles along the way. • Report the projects manager with clients requests to authorize expenditures for projects. • Assist in preparing proposals and pre-qualification documents. • Prepare and conduct an institutional assessment of SFSD NGOs partners • Provide technical support to the SFSD NGOs partners. • Participate in developing the monitoring & evaluation tools for implementing projects • Assist in conduct budget revisions of projects according to the agreed schedule and format. • Prepare and review project-related documents and reports. • Conduct back to office reports, and a monthly accumulative report to Projects Manager. • Backstop other officers. Project Support Services ; • Advise in the development of work plans and other project matters • Work closely with staff members to share ideas • Help coordinate and monitor implementation of unit plans. Project officer assist the Projects department ensuring that projects operate effectively and efficiently implemented according to project work plans, maintain overall quality control process.
Qualifications A minimum 3-5 years work experience in Social development. Bachelor degree in Social Studies or related field preferred. Intermediate computer literacy, with experience on Microsoft word, Excel. Basic proficiency in spreadsheets preferable, but not required.
