Lead the deductions analysis, root cause, corrective actions, and group discussions till the denial issue resolved. Research and resolve insurance billing issues at the time of claims notice period , Receipt of denial or non-contracted payment, and refund requests. Represent the hospital in all claims issues related to deductions to insurance companies Interact daily with all stakeholders including but not limited to insurance companies, clinic and hospital personnel, and patients. Maintain current assigned insurance(s) guidelines, policies, contracts and procedures related to payment of claims. Will be expected to communicate this information to various areas of the organization on a requested basis.
Qualifications Excellent interpersonal, Negotiation and analytical skills. Basic working knowledge of the MS Office. Knowledge of medical terminology, medical collections, ICD-9 and CPT coding is preferred. Experience from 2-5 in healthcare insurance companies ( Hospital area is preferable )
