Description Assist in the processing of functional and benefits expense allocations, monthly accruals, amortization of prepaid expenses, fixed assets depreciation and recording of adjusting and reclassification journal entries, if necessary. Assist In performing general accounts analysis and reconciliations, fixed assets, accruals and prepaid expenses. Assist in preparing monthly financial statement schedules Support the accounting manager and staff on adhoc requests. Assist in preparing and reconciling monthly trial balances for each accounting fund. Performs, reviews and reconciles each accounting fund to ensure: debits and credits are in balance in all funds; inter-fund accounts are in agreement; subsidiary ledger balances (such as payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable) agree to the control account balances in the general ledger; Clearing and suspense accounts are documented and balances cleared within 30 days. Assist in preparing monthly journal entries and adjustments, including supporting documentation and appropriate descriptions.
Qualifications Four years bachelor degree in accounting Minimum of four (4) years experience within a complex accounting environment managing the financial closing cycle, preparing and reporting consolidated financial statements Multi module SAP system experience preferred.
