Description Supervise the Electronics supervisors and technicians work and evaluate their performance.
Communicate and coordinate with other departments to facilitate work flow of department.
Keep records of spare parts in order to guarantee the minimum level of their availability at the company warehouses and coordinate with the management to issue the purchase orders including the required and accurate specifications.
Check newly purchased machinery and spare parts before entering the company warehouses and approve that they are in accordance with the specifications mentioned in the purchase request.
Prepare status and feedback reports on the activities and achievements of the department and delivering them to the electrical maintenance manager.
Investigate electronic and instrumentation equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation, and to prepare preventive maintenance programs and schedules and follow up on their implementation.
Follow up & ensure that the electronics & instrumentation staff are applying the quality assurance requirements and following industrial safety measures.
Read & interpret electronic & instrumentation equipment manuals and technical drawings.
Warrants availability of electric supply to control systems , inspection machines and packaging machines.
Reduction of down times.
Implementation and development of preventive maintenance plans and methods.
Coordinate activities with all other departments.
Improvement of efficiency.
Independently identify and recommend cost effective solutions.
Coordinate activities with maintenance sub-contractors.
Facilitate the introduction of new processes, products and technologies.
Ensures that all the department expenses are within the range of the departmental budget
Qualifications Engineer with 2- 4 experience in the Electrical Control of a major manufacturing facility plant. Very good experience in PLC ( especially Siemens ) - Scada system - Automation control, decision-making ability
