Description I. Job Purpose
The Senior Technical Office Engineer is responsible for visiting consultants and introducing to them all company products and services, presenting full product range. In addition to helping consultancy firms in developing projects specifications that abide with all technical needs of the project and the budget set by the owner.
II. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the development of the consulting firms and governmental bodies to achieve long-term relationship.
- Build up a professional specification know how, tools, database and Network.
- Secure specifications of products and application solutions in all the relevant projects.
- Develop strategic plans and high-level corporate relationships with the technical decision makers.
- Regular planned calls to engineering firms, jobsite consultants and governmental bodies.
- Responsible for preparing submittals, technical proposals, and conducting seminars.
- Assist sales team to close sales opportunities, as well as proactively generate new business opportunities.
- Back up and assist the sales team when theyre in the field delivering projects.
- Report periodically on the status and progress of his/her activities and achievements to his/her direct manager.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in his/her area of work.
- Undertake any other duties assigned by his/her direct manager.
- Comply with Companys Policies & Procedures and any other related documentation.
Qualifications - Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. - 4 to 6 years of Experience Technical Office/Pre-sales functions or any related field. - Excellent Communication Skills, with good command of English written & Verbal. - Good Command of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, PPT, etc…). - Problem-solving skills; Analytical skills to interpret sales performance/market trend information. - Must possess a creative approach. - Good organizational and planning skills. - Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines. - Good business sense and budgeting skills. - Have strong attention to details and an investigative nature. - Have high numeracy and technical skills
