Description - Assist in overseeing global GAP and Flo Cert activities via Blue Moon;
 - Provide on-farm training to improve volumes and quality;
 - Assisting to promote innovative tools and technology;
 - Assisting to introduce ICT solutions for extension and irrigation;
 - Prepare associations/cooperatives for successful post-harvest handling;
 - Build capacity of input suppliers;
 - Assist implementation of grants to support development of input suppliers (agro dealers);
 - Oversee agronomists in field offices;
 -Ensure all activities are in compliance with local, internal, CNFA and USAID regulations;
 - Support the Agronomy team Leader with timely and accurate reporting to USAID;
 - Ensure high-quality performance of all relative activities;
 - Ensure accurate collection and monitoring of activity indicators and M&E;
 - Assist in the development of technical specifications for grant solicitations; assist in the review and assessment of potential grantees; attending workshops (i.e. Full Proposal Workshop) to provide technical guidance for grantees developing applications; assist in completion of pre-award and environmental assessment site visits when required; advise on technical components of grantees final project proposals; development and review of technical specifications and market feasibility of in-kind procurements and grantee cost share; monitoring and evaluation of grantee activities; serve as point of contact for portfolio of grantees as assigned; integrating grant activities into the overall technical vision of the project; contribute to grant close-out and equipment disposition.
 - Perform other task as assigned.

Qualifications - Egyptian National preferably from Upper Egypt - Minimum of a BA degree in agronomy, horticulture, or a closely related field - Minimum of 5-7 years of relevant international work experience, field experience in Egypt strongly preferred; - Familiarity with agricultural extension and value chain development required; - Prior USAID or other international donor experience preferred; - Strong written and verbal communication skills; - Oral and written fluency in Arabic and English mandatory.
